So I'll wait til Kingdom come...all the highs and lows have gone... I'll be fine.

Jukebox Pete: "A Little Bit Longer" by the Jonas Brothers

I know you may have predetermined thoughts about this band but it's a cool sentimental song. The youngest brother, Nick Jonas, found out he had diabetes and eventually resulted in this heartfelt song. This is also the title track of their latest cd.

Heroes Unmasked

Halloween is coming soon... are you excited? I don't get all the hype, but I guess it's fun to dress up and eat candy. A lot of it to me seems to be demonic and there are people out there that take this night seriously; it is kinda scary. Don't be scared though, just be safe and have fun.

Here's an alternative that my home church did last year: "Heroes Unmasked" . Kids came dressed up in their costumes to the church to play games and get tons of candy.

High Life Scenery

Jukebox Pete presents this week... "High Life Scenery" by The Rocket Summer I couldn't find it on the internet to put on here so I put some random clips that I have from video camera to the song real quick, perhaps for your viewing pleasure or not... the song's the main focous here though, so I hope you enjoy!

A little info about the band: it's a one man band. He does all the instruments, write the songs, and sings! He's Christian by faith and his music has lots of meaning in the songs. This is one of his fun songs that's up beat and piano-driven.

Give Thanks ---> Thanksgiving

This weekend is Thanksgiving here in Canada and I thought I would just post something about it because I, myself, am really excited for it. Two days ago I took the bus to church and as I walked from the bus drop off to the church, I just thought of how thankful I am to have the freedom to walk the streets here in Canada and carry a Bible. For some countries it would be death!

This is a little bit off topic but the Canadian election is next week and it is the first time I am able to vote and I am registered and ready to submit my ballot! Vote Conservative: Keep Harper in! I am thankful for the leadership that the country has right now and I hope it's kept the way it is...

I am excited for this weekend because it will be the first time in 9 years that my family has been together on Thanksgiving weekend. I am thankful for my family and my friends. They are the people I love the most and can always have a good time with. In everything, though, I give thanks to the Lord for I am nothing without Him and it is this life that He has given me and He has given me so much.
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and word of advice: don't over eat.

Here's Napoleon Dynamite to tell you how to prepare some food for Thanksgiving:

Jukebox Pete: There Will Be A Day

Jukebox Pete presents the Song of the Week: This week's song is 'There Will Be A Day' by Jeremy Camp. This song has a yearning and talks about the hope we have in Jesus and that someday we will have peace and be rid of our burdens and see Jesus face to face. This song means a lot to me because my beliefs are so well connected with what the song is saying. Check it out! This song will be on Jeremy Camp's new cd coming out in november.

Airsoft One

Here's a preview for a new blockbuster hit: Airsoft One. A new movie starring Aaron Hobbs, Thomas Stringer, Jonathan Jackson, Hilary Faught, and Brady Ward.

Here's a short clip from the unedited / unfinished movie--but it's in the works, you know-- and you can see for yourself that this action adventure flick will be worth microwaving at least one bag of popcorn for.
